Inspiration Abounds at Camelback Mountain Resort
TANNERSVILLE, PA – The Stars of Tomorrow, an adaptive ski camp for 5-18 year olds with physical disabilities, will be at Camelback Mountain Resort, February 5-8, 2013 for the 19th consecutive year. The camp is open to first-time skiers as well as seasoned skiers that want to continue to improve their skiing. Just as any other kids’ sports camp, the focus is on the sport, but the camp also gives these determined kids so much more. The kids develop independence, confidence and fitness throughout the week, and most importantly, they meet kids in similar situations and learn from each other.

Shawnee Mountain’s Race Against Cancer is almost here. The Race Against Cancer will be held on Saturday, February 9th. This recreational giant slalom race, NASTAR format, is open to all skiers and snowboarders. Proceeds to benefit the Monroe County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
